Black Wood Cabin 001 is a four-bedroom woodland-house design with a dark exterior, broad glazing and a large deck. The creator describes birch and pine as material references and separates the communal living and kitchen spaces from the private bedroom area. The angled roof and high windows are intended to bring daylight into the rooms.
The deck is a strong part of the exterior composition, providing space to frame views toward the glazed living area. The model notes also identify a hot tub.
